Sacred Blue Lily flower (N.nouchali var caerulea) is a water lily native to Egypt where it grows in the Nile delta and lowlands of the Nile. The Blue Lotus has beautiful sky blue to violet tinged flowers. 

It held a special significance in ancient Egypt where it was closely associated with the detailed and visionary concepts of the afterlife, rebirth & shamanic transformation.

It is known for its relaxing, aphrodisiac, analgesic and anti anxiety properties.
